Your rehabilitation process will be hard work, so it's important for you to keep a positive attitude. Think about all the things you used to do before your knee pain began - and imagine all the new activities you'll enjoy after your recovery.
To help you through this process, following is a rough timeline you can follow to track the progress of your recovery.
The performance of knee replacements depends on age, weight, activity level and other factors. There are potential risks and recovery takes time. People with conditions limiting rehabilitation should not have this surgery. Only an orthopaedic surgeon can tell if knee replacement is right for you.
